Nanak: Top Among the Natural Philosophers of Ancient Greece and the Renaissance

Abstract:
This paper builds on my previous paper, in which I have added a discussion on who Nanak is. From his Bani, it becomes evident that he was neither a Prophet nor a Messenger of God. It is his nature that led him to promulgate natural philosophy. He used to observe nature and the phenomena, where every action and reaction occurs automatically in the cosmos. Thereafter, this paper compares the natural philosophies of ancient Greek and Renaissance natural philosophers with Nanak’s. The comparison of the natural philosophies of Bruno and Spinoza of the Renaissance with that of Nanak was added. The comparison of the natural philosophies of ancient Greek and Renaissance philosophers with Nanak’s clearly leads us to believe that Nanak is a Natural Philosopher at the top of the list of the Natural Philosophers of ancient Greece and the Renaissance.
